We are regularly asked where one can find a recording of our cover of the theme and in-game music from the Ghosts ‘N Goblins series.
Well, here you go…
Glass Apple Bonzai’s new single “What They Say” featuring the vocal talents of the wonderful and unique Hello Moth from Calgary , Alberta.
And here it is…a brand NEW Glass Apple Bonzai song called “Wicked Fire (Jazzi’s Theme)”.
This is a unique version of the song available exclusively on the Synth Love Affair Vol. 1 compilation put together by Marko Maric and released through Future 80’s.
Marko approached me to write a song as a gift for his fiancee Jazzi for her birthday.
Naturally, I did the best job I could.
A slightly different version will appear on “In the Dark”
After almost a year of doing nothing with the Glass Apple Bonzai Reverbnation page I’ve finally been giving it the attention it deserves.
Here it is, for what it is.
**as a bonus, included in the tracks is a preliminary version of the upcoming song “Dancing to the Sound of Love”
A while back I was approached by Satori in Bed, asking to lend my voice to a song.
Everything came together really quickly and the end product is fantastic!
Expect more collabs in the future.
Here it is: Athenian Misdirection by Satori in Bed feat. Daniel X. Belasco
It’s been a while, I know.
Let’s start with the good news.
“Night Maze”, Glass Apple Bonzai’s 2nd album is DONE!
It’s currently being mastered and the artwork is being finalised as we speak.
The release date is May 1st and it will be Digital Only to begin with.
As always the artwork is being done by Paul Sizer of SIZER Design+Illustration
And again, as always the album is being mastered by Martin Bowes @ The Cage – Coventry UK
I’m really proud of this album and can’t wait to unleash it upon the masses.
And speaking of which…I’m pretty damn happy to announce that GAB will be sharing the stage with
Canadian Synth-Legends RATIONAL YOUTH on June 27th @ Nocturne in Toronto, Ontario.
I’ve been a fan of Rational Youth for a long time and this is going to be a special show.
Also performing are Depression Era, who are really good. So show up to see all three acts.
Here’s the poster.
So, Aftermath Festival happened in Toronto last weekend and holy shit was it amazing.
The debut Glass Apple Bonzai performance went off like wildfire!
I’ll leave a full description of that for a later date when there’s video to go along with it.
Right now I’m announcing that not only are there CD copies of the debut full-length Glass Apple Bonzai album available through bandcamp,
there are a limited quantity of T-shirts available as well.
They were printed especially for Aftermath Festival, and these ones are slightly irregular only in that the print quality is a bit rough.
But that by no means affects the ability to wear them around and look totally retro-awesome!
